ITS Timing System is a passive one-way chip timing
system for running competitions. The athletes simply discard the transponders
after the event. It is not necessary to collect transponders after
the race.
The transponders are delivered joined with the bib and a short manual
and will be attached to the runner's shoes. Thus, it is unlikely that
athletes swap their transponders. Additional effort by the organizer
is not needed.
Who are the intended users of the
system?
The system can be used by professional timing companies
as well as by organizers of smaller events. In particular organizers
can rent the system over the weekend. It can be shipped easily.
The set-up of the system is very easy. Unrool the floor
mat, connect it to the decoder and
press the ON-Button. After the start up of the system it is ready
to use. You do not need prior experience to use the system. A short
manual describes important aspects to
consider.
Does it work reliable?
The system has been tested at several events with
200 to 1,000 runners successfully. The detection rate was between
99.5% and 100%. Missing detections were always caused by chips attached
incorrectly or missing side barriers (you could run beside the mat).
What does ITS Timing System cost?
The bib including print (4C), personalization and
transponders can be purchased for 1.48 EUR. A system can be rented
for 249 EUR over the weekend and for 2490 EUR for 24 months.
Can the system be used for net
timing?
Yes, ITS Timing System can measure the runners'
starting time. Because of the large width of the mat the system is
suitable for net timing very well.
Can I test the system?
Yes, as long as we have free rental systems, we
can provide a system and 20 bibs for one day. For this service we
charge you a fee of 100 EUR. You can order this test package in your
customer area in the EventBox menu.
What to do if I want to use the
system?
If you want to rent a system for 24 months, please
contact us directly. In order to reserve a system for a weekend, please
order it in your customer area in the EventBox menu.
