This page describes the components of RunManager 10 with
screenshots and short descriptions.
Web-Based Programs
While working both online before and after the
event and offline during the event you use your web browser to work in the
Main, Participants and Output Window.
Main Window
Configure your event file using the Main Window. Create
contests, define interim results and set other settings.
Analyze the event about errors, create statistics and
many more.
Configure your online registration on Your-Sports.com
and define results that shall be published.
Participants Window
Using the Participants Window you can enter and modify
participants via your web browser quickly and easily.
All times can be modified manually and all results can
be checked.
The History shows all changes made on the participant's
data. In case of problems all changes can be reviewed.
Output Window
Using the Output Window you create lists, reports and
certificates and print or save them as PDF, HTML or Excel file.
There are no limits to the layout of reports and certificates:
fonts, colors, records, sorting, columns - everything can be defined
freely. Usually, you will use pre-defined reports and make only minor
changes on them.
Windows-Based Programs
Time Recorder
If timing your event manually, you use the Time Recorder
to capture the times at the finish line.
Bib Recorder
Use the Bib Recorder to capture the bib numbers after
the finish line.
Enter bib numbers via your keyboard or a barcode scanner.
Manual Timing
The program Manual Timing combines the times
and bib numbers automatically.
Correct discrepancies between the list of times and
the list of bib numbers.
Optionally you can transfer the results to the event
file during the race in real time. You will have access to the latest
result list at any time - similar to chip timing.
Transponder Module
The Transponder Module connects your event file with
a chip timing system.
Connect to various transponder systems, such as ITS,
AMB, Chronelec, DAG, SAS, Sportronic or Ipico.
Presenter
Use the Presenter program to present pre-defined or
self-defined lists on screens or displays.
The list will be shown page by page and start over after
the last page. For example, it can contain only those participants
finished recently and restart after each finish.
This way, participants can see their result directly
after finishing or view entire result lists.
Announcer Program
The Announcer Program shows all relevant information
to an announcer.
He can select participants manually.
If a transponder system is used, the finishing athletes
can be shown immediately with their times and positions.
The program also shows the current race time and the
number of competitors and finishers.
Designer
Use the Designer program to create layouts for certificates,
reports or labels.
You can create layouts such that the desired information can be
printed on pre-printed certificates.
Terminal
Volunteers or the participants themselves can print
certificates using the Terminal program. They only enter their bib
number or name and press enter to print the certificate.
You can also use a touch screen. The Terminal program
can show a keyboard on the screen.
Other Programs
RunManager
While working offline without Internet, the small program
"RunManager" fulfills those tasks usually performed by our
web servers.
Like working online all computers in your network can
access the Main, Participants and Output Window without installing
any software.
Sports Event Server
While working offline, the Sport Event Server works
in the background.
It ensures that all times and results are calculated
at any time and that many users can access this data at the same time.
The other programs connect automatically to the server.
They can run on the same computer or somewhere in your local network.
